This is the SUNDAY ball toss information page. You will need to be committed by Wednesday at 5PM each week so we can attempt to get enough times. Of course, we will try to accommodate everyone. You will need to sign up each week. Once signed up, there will be a cutoff at 20 players. Then there will also be a 5 player alternate pool if needed. NOTE - should there not be enough times for the number of people signed up, ANY person that secures a usable time will bump a non tee time grabbing person.
Understanding that stuff happens and people have to back out along with the fact that getting 5 times each week will be VERY difficult. HOWEVER, if we can get 5 times together, the 25 will be in the pool.
So here is how it will go down each week:
2. All forms that get filled are time stamped when sent to me. Please do not sign up for the following Sunday more than 1 week out from the Sunday you want to play.
3. List will be displayed of the 15-20 players on the "sheet". It is YOUR
responsibility to make sure you're on the sheet PRIOR
to the day when the group is securing times (Wednesday before the Sunday being played). 4. The page called "The Playbook" showing what times we're going for and what names to be used on those times. 5. Times will be known Thursday/Friday morning. Once times are confirmed, they will be displayed on the CURRENT LIST
page at the top. We ask that ALL players be there at LEAST 20-30 minutes before the first known time on Sunday. IF for some reason you must change, please notify me, Ned or someone on the list so we can adjust accordingly. 6. Everyone will pull a tee time out of a hat so there is no touching of "balls" and we remain COVID compliant. Tee times will create random groups as a ball toss would.
7. Bets and all other forms of shenanigans will be decided at this point.
8. There will be NO GIMMIES.
HOLIDAYS
Holidays will work the same as a regular Sunday when the group decides there will be a ball toss. Sometimes a ball toss on a holiday, like the Wednesday and/or Friday around Thanksgiving is just not feasible and/or a good idea due to the number of players.
